Just make sure you're not between me and cake. In the same room is fine, just not between me and it... Like you don't get between a cow and her calf....

Oh dear. Are you a bit more 34 x 47 than 26 x 25? ;)

Noted

And, well I've put a pound on  (maybe) - it might just have been breakfast tho' - big mug of T.

So last couple of days have seen me have a smaller breakfast. Unfortunately I suspect I made up for that later in the day

No cake chez 26x25 at the moment. It all got eaten

Is it just temporary membership Arch? I'm just about to put the kettle on , fancy a brew?

Yes please to a brew....

I've been browsing around YACF a bit this evening - it's odd to be a newbie, so to speak... I hope I can keep it going, as well as here... But here is... Home.

26x25, I often put a pound on (usually after dinner), and the weight goes up and down with the hormones anyway. You may not have the latter excuse, but don't fret too much...

Although if you want any cake removing from your sight....

Is it just me or is it kind of quiet in here these days?

Anyway, Tea's on.

Sssssshhh! CookieMonster is having a doze...

I'll have a quiet cuppa please....

Oh, I'm on holiday! :hyper::hyper::hyper::hyper:

Until Friday. Pete's away at Eurobike, so I get a day off from the office tomorrow. I'm going to do glamorous things like get a haircut, do some shopping and some laundry, and get my regular 10 miles in.

Whoops. I think I woke CM....

CM - is the insommnia a regular thing, or new? Not much I can offer by way of advice, beyond lavender, and milky drinks. And a really dull book.

This insomnia seems to have came on over the past 2 weeks. I think it's because I have so much on for the next year, study, graduation, Civil Partnership ceremony and not knowing what I'm going to be doing from July next year and where I will be living. Too much on my mind methinks.

One trick is to write it all down. Then you can shut the notebook knowing it's all "sorted" and can be forgotten till the next day. So make a plan on a bit of paper......

Also - do a quiet thing for an hour or half an hour before going to sleep.

If sleep still evades you - get up and start the wind down process again.

Ah thanks Arch. But there may be a bit of a trend  . We shall see. It's in the "noise" as signal processing folks might say...........

As for cake - I recommend you ride the Kidderminster Killer 200km Audax on 12th September. The cakes at the Church Stretton control are to die for. Lady from the local CTC is a wonder wizard with baking. Worth the pain of all the hills just for those cakes  And you have the perfect excuse to indulge as you'll burn them all off on the ride :becool:
