Oh, Waffles, how cool! Will you be picking up Italian hunks on it? Save me one? An older one, with twinkly eyes, like the head waiter at La Piazza...*

Hmm, my diet to day has been awful. Toast and tea for breakfast, ok, then went to work for the first aid course, and some leftover nibbles from the meeting there last night. Leftover sandwiches and more nibbles for lunch, and a small shandy at mid afternoon. Then after work, on my way home after an extra mile or two, I encountered my colleagues on the bike path, who'd talked me into going to the pub. Two halves, a bag of pork scratchings, and a mars bar later, I came home, and had a fish finger sandwich, a handful of minstrels, and a piece of cheese.

Now feeling ever so slightly dodgy in the midriff...

And I've got to be up for 7am tomorrow to get to Fangfoss. My friend emailed on Friday to say, she'd only found out on Tuesday, but the craft fair starts at 9... I really need to allow 90 mins at least to do the 13 miles.

*I once went there twice in a week, with different chaps, and that waiter twinkled at me all evening.

I don't BeeeLeeeeeve it. No Cake !!!

26by25 - you are if I recall crectly, not allowed cakey items, so I ate them on your behalf. ;)

TheDoc - you are talking nonsense, it is impossible to spend too much time on trains. :hello:

That top one is fantastic! I was thinking about Cake Wrecks the other day, couldn't remember the name.

I have a Ganesh water bottle...

Awww.... I was just talking to my sister on the phone, and they'd been to a barbeque today, and a wedding yesterday, and by the time they got home, Oli was well and truly asleep, dead to the world. As we finished talking, he was waking up, clearly really groggy, and I heard a tiny voice whining "I want to go home"

"You are home, darling".

"I want to go hoooooooooooooooome!"

I know how I feel after a daytime nap, he must feel rotten!

Does cake help Arch? If so share that knowledge for Oli's sake

Speicher - no cake chez 26x25. But I have indulged in far too many biskits

BTW I put a 24 ring on yesterday for a Hilly audax next Sunday (I'll be using my usually 28x25 bike as it has mudguards). There is a Kilometre of unrelenting 25% uphill on the route. Must I change my nom de plume?
