I won't tell if you dont!!

Tell what?

Brrr. First really properly miserable day at work, weather wise - squally cold rain showers all day. It'll get worse, but the first time each year, you suddenly remember what it like to have cold wet gloves and feet.

Still it didn't rain ALL the time, which is something.

Good excuse for a nice big spag bol for dinner.

Tea?

I have been Tasha's heroine all day.

She is very pleased with me after I rescued her from the garage where she spent all last night....in the dark...all alone.

I took the decision not to tell her that it was my fault she got trapped in the garage in the first place.

Yeah - mine gets distracted by spiders too and hence gets locked in the garage. She creeps in quietly when I have my back turned. Then when I get back from my bike ride there is a lot of loud mewing going on. She never learns tho'.

Tasha does not do mewing, loud or otherwise. She occassionnally emits a very small "eeep" noise, quieter than a quiet sort of squeak.

Her greatest concern today seems to be that having missed at least one breakfast, she must make up for that deficit at least four times over! She is also very large for a female cat, and her paws would easily cover four keys at once.

My neighbours cat/our semi-adopted cat is the same,so much so that it is called 'Squeak'.

Certainly getting a bit chilly out there the last couple of days, got home at 10.45pm and usually have a nice cold drink, tonight it was straight to the kettle for a warming cuppa

When I pick her up, Tasha does not purr. It is sort of yp..up.....hp.....pp.....dp...(very quietly)

Can anyone translate that?

Thank you Tdr1nka.

I think all Tasha's observations are followed by the request for more food. She was a stray and then taken in by the Cat's Protection League, when she chose me as her person. I do not think that her first owner(s) knew how to look after a cat properly. She had two lots of kittens whilst a stray on an industrial estate. Then someone who works there rang the CPL who colllected her and her kittens. She is mostly black with white socks and white bib. Her kittens were tiny balls of black fluffiness.
