People are treating me like some kind of demi-god because I'm still cycling into work, even though it's cold.
I'm hardly going to walk, am I? I'd freeze!!

You mentioned working with oak lately, and how it's much harder...
Got to be worth trying a mask, even if it's the cheap disposable ones.

I've been walking! Enough layers and I'm fine - trousers, w/p trousers, a long sleeved vest, a tee shirt, a long sleeved jersey, a fleece cardi and a padded coat. Two pairs of socks inside my workboots, and two pairs of gloves.
Sounds a lot when I write it down, but it was -14 the other morning when I walked in.
By the time I'd pushed the bike along the icy side road to the main road, and then along the side road from the main road to the centre, I might as well walk it all.

I do have a dust mask, an expensive quality one but sometimes just going past my workshop is enough to turn the taps on in my nose. Equally sometimes at college I get the same thing and I can't teach in a mask as I look and sound like Darth Vader!
Also I have to have thought ahead and put on the mask before any symptoms as a snotty nose and sneezing in the mask is really yucky!
In the meantime I have taken to antihistamines again.
Not sure if it is different timbers, I know my hayfever is related to tree pollens so maybe some varieties of wood dust are having the greater effect.
