Thanks Speich, should be fine as I took my 1st ones at 10am. Will have to get something on way home tomorrow like Lemsip or Night nurse(is it any good?)
I used to take paracetamol 3 at a time

I would avoid Lemsip or Night Nurse. They contain a combination of ingredients, but not strong, imo, to do anything. Not that I am a medical expert or anything. I think the standard advice when you have a cold is to drink plenty of liquid, and keep warm, and rest if necessary.

Three paracetamol at a time , I hope they were the smaller ones - 250mg. If the cold is affecting your taste buds, try hot ribena, or something similar.

If you are operating machinery, be careful with anything that makes you drowsy. I am sorry if I am beginning to sound like your Mother. Is Mrs Potsy looking after you properly?

Right, plenty of fluids it is then, I rest a lot so there's no problem there

Hot vimto I can do, and no they weren't the small ones, full strength 500's, but as I'm not exactly lightweight i figured I needed an extra one to make a difference

Morning all, TEA UP!!
A very frosty and freezing foggy commute in this morning...

No fog here thankfully and it feels "warm" out. Everything is relative tho'.

Arctic blast forecast for later in the week tho'

Think I have finally done the last of the painting now - apart from a wedge which I forgot about. 5 mins worth tho' and then a day for the final coat to dry.

Am off to the velodrome tomorrow. No ice in there I hope. Must track (oops a pun) down my kit as I haven't used it in a year.

Blimey, it's been quiet in the Tea Room today... everybody out Chrimble shopping or summat?

Yes, I have been crimble shopping for some nice wrapping paper, and some new lights for the window. Everyone in this street likes to put lights in their front windows, and it looks very pretty. I found some nice plainish ones, with a large star, tree etc, just in outline, no jazzy changes of colours.

I've been at work!

To my shame, I was half an hour late this morning. I was perfectly on time for the time I thought I ought to have got there, but had forgotten that Monday is now an early start day....

Had some interesting moments driving the vehicle today on some side street, mainly when I turned the wheel (all at very slow speed) and she drifted off in whatever direction she fancied. It was like an icerink. Well, it WAS an icerink, only without the little gauzy skirts and 6.0 from all the judges. I've never driven sideways before.

I've just been having a very bizarre text conversation with my boss and his housemate (who we also work with), which ended up in the seggestion that I wear a yellow all-in-one lycra suit...

It's a long and complicated story that involves DEFRA and youtube....
