'Henry' has been put to good use today, we have had a spring clean in December, our old hoover has been broke for 2 weeks so there was a fair bit of cleaning to do and he coped very well, and he still has a smile on his face

Cats are not happy cos the furniture has been re-arranged so their usual little hiding spots are gone, they are pacing the floor investigating the new lay-out.

I was up way too early this morning. I'm cat/house sitting for a neighbour over Christmas and his house alarm went off at 6am, probably the cat, so I had to go and reset it.

I blame the cats for as much as I can get away with, bad smells, strange marks on furniture/carpets etc.

Time for a H.C. I think, sneaked to the chippy earlier for supper after taking our guests home, feeling rather full now

Leo has decided that he makes a very good ornament. He likes to sit on tables. He is looking so pleased with himself at the moment as he is precariously balanced on a small coffee table. The camera batteries are flat, or I would take a ph.... too late, he's moved.

Mine have taken up almost permanent residence on my lap, they are taking it in turns with each doing about 30 mins before they swap places.

Need an early start tomorrow to get all the goodies from Tesco before the chaos starts, still not got my Bulmers and will be slightly miffed if they have sold out

Oh yes, takes me about 2 pints to be piffed these days

if they're all gone I'll have to make do with 2 bottles of white wine and 2 ltrs of Magners

Someone gave me a bottle of gin, or I might have won it in a raffle, not keen. What can I drown it in to make it palatable?

I would try fresh orange maybe, not really a fan of spirits other than Archers peach schnapps and Southern Comfort.
I tried whiskey once when I won a bottle in a raffle, eww I nearly threw up, drowned it in a glass of coke but still wasn't for me.

F.A. has taken up residence at his food bowl now, he's not crying just patiently sat there hoping I'll fill it up for him
