Horrible day here, raining and dull so have put off the shopping trip until tomorrow.

Well done! You avoided it jumping into your basket! ;)

I think that I have avoided putting on any weight over Christmas! There are no meetings now until Jan 6th, so might even loose some a teensy bit by then. No chocs left, no brazils, no pudding. But some friends are visiting early in January, so I might get some more mince pies. If everyone has two mince pies, and some people have three, how many do I get for four people?

A dozen sounds about right to me, and just hope you don't get left with a load to finish yourself

I budget to put 7lbs ON

over Christmas going by previous years, don't think it'll be that much now maybe 3-4lbs.

There's a thread about how to stop losing weight, think I better stay out of that one

Aperitif is probably hoping for some mince pies! Yes, one dozen should do it. Collect them from the baker's that day, two for me in the afternoon, and two or three each in the evening. Back to Weight Watchers the next day.

You could ask the chap in the "how to stop losing Weight" thread, just how he lost the five or is it seven stone he has lost so far!

Turns out it was eating less and exercising more, who'd have thought it?

I have not tried Yorkshire Tea, but most people say how nice it is.

Miranda is on at 11pm btw.

For dessert this evening I used up the last of the double cream, with two waffles.

Please note, Potsy, probably best that you do not try Tesco Belgian Waffles, they are really not for you. ;)

Cheers for the Miranda reminder, I'll record that.
I am blissfully unaware of waffles,Belgian or others. I'm sure I'll have to try them now though

I like waffles. I said Waffles, not waffling. Restaurants serve them, but ruin them by heating them in the microwave. :headshake:

When you are cooking a main meal in the oven, in an oven that is cooling down, the waffles will only need a couple of minutes.
