Happy New Year Scamps and Scampesses!

The Tdr1nkas saw the NY in from the top of Telegraph Hill watching the Thames fireworks from about 4 miles away.
Dunno about austerity, that display must have cost close to £1m!

We had hot chocolate with honey and were amused to watch drunken revellers trying to burn down trees with those paper lantern things!

Afternoons Trinka!!

I had a somewhat damp ride on the Brommie, but it's nice to be out on a bike and not be surrounded by snow..

Afternoon tea drinkers.

Feel almost human again now after a gallon of tea and some scrambled egg on toast(which may have also had a couple of rashers of bacon on as well)

Have had my New Year weigh-in and think I'll start my diet on Tuesday (1st day back to work)

Tasha has finally discovered the Christmas Tree. She is fast asleep under it. I have rearranged some parcels, around the bottom of the tree, leaving the space she occupied. I might wrap up some empty boxes as more pretend parcels, and rearrange other things. When the curtains are closed this evening, it should make a lovely photo, which I can then upload as A3 size.

That sounds great, if you could do it about 7pm I can then go and make tea while it loads

You should be able to resize it by now surely?

Talking of things under the Xmas tree.

Mrs 26x25's massive bag of chocolate brazil nuts have split under there.

So she's not aware of the ones that are going "missing". Purely accidentally you understand

Did somebody say tea?
Yes please, 3 sugars. Watching the end of Indy film I recorded earlier and then going to check if I've won the lottery

Three sugars... no, just two and a half I think.

Yes, she is now asleep behind the sofa.

I have been watching Wallander, on BBC4 or is it 3, excellent, even with subtitles. Strangely  I found I had to have the volume turned up sufficiently so that I could hear what people were saying. If I do not "hear" who is speaking, then I loose track of whose conversation is in the subtitles.

I am not aware of Wallander, does it involve violence, horror, or super-natural type stuff?
I did record Wall-e today, is that relevent?

I don't really have 3 sugars unless the mug is particularly huge
