Lunch was hours ago! Oli is at nursery, and Max having a nap. Mummy was sitting down, but has gone off to poach some fish for a fish pie for supper...

We have about 40 mins before Max is up and about again....

Tea would be good. We had hot chocolate earlier. And pizza for lunch.

Oli got a magazine from Smiths, with a mini toy cooking set on the front, so he's decided the house is now a restaurant.

He and Max have grown up so much since Christmas!

Cooking set? Does that include a rolling pin? I think you can make scones without a rolling pin, if you just pat the dough into shape. I would like a wholemeal scone with strawberry jam and fresh clotted cream.

I have had a scone(or 2) for my post dinner/pre evening meal snack. Bit of butter and a blob of strawberry jam on each

Drove to work today, bike a bit poorly and it was raining at 4.30am, enjoyed the extra half hour in bed anyway.
2 Colinj rides coming up in the next 2 weeks so I won't be short of miles this month

When I was out today, some Fox's biscuits jumped into my hands at the Green grocers. The very nice whipped cream ones, like custard creams but even nicer.

We had a comically dried out fish pie for dinner (the boys ate earlier, and the rest was reheated for us, but it took a while to get Oli settled...), but with a glass of wine too, we just laughed about it. The top of the potato was a bit like shoe leather, but ironically one fish it didn't contain was sole...
