I was on meat-from-fridge-to-BBQ duty, and getting hot, so wanted to lose the vest top I had on under my smart shirt....

For those who like guessing things - why did I go the Physio-therapy department yesterday and ask if my tiger was ready?

I thought that you would be able to guess. I collected a picture of a tiger. It had been on display in the waiting room, and for sale. Part of the proceeds go to the Friends of the Hospital.

I am not sure that a scanned picture would do it justice. It is a drawing in coloured pencils of the head of the tiger. The way she has captured its face is very good.

I have a lack of artwork in my flat. Photos, yes, all over the place. But no paintings. Only just realised.

I have two art works on the wall I'm facing now. One is a large poster of Whistlejacket by Stubbs. The other is an A4 painting of a bumblebee, by Oli (aged 3).

Oooh, I lie. I've got a thank you card from last Christmas, designed and made by my friend's two sons. I hope the person on the front isn't based on me.
