I've got some Muc Off wet lube. And the fat on the grill from the sausages...

He's got a headache, not swimming the channel!

;)

I've just lunged for the telly to turn off the Apprentice. I was in the middle of a post, and was going to get up to turn off when I'd done, but after 2 of the snippets of self introduction, I felt nauseous.

WD40 sounds about right for me, given I could be mistaken for the heartless Tin Man some days.;)

Head still throbbing, going to go back to bed in a while.

Don't underestimate the practicality of having a funnel for a hat. Ideal for decanting stuff.

Hope the head settles down.

Please to tea.

I've made my thumb a bit sore and was sent home early after a trip to A+E. Tis just a flesh wound and my fault so no sympathy required.

Can't spend the extra free time gardening or fettling though.

Aw, here's some tea, in a mug with a specially wide handle to get your comedy bandaged thumb through....

What did you do, or don't we want to know?

Oh god, are we going to have endless tales of 'mallett finger' again now from Miss Spikey?

Just downed my 2nd cuppa of the day, mind you my day only started at 2.30pm, night shift this week

I could tell you about the time I ended up with my arm in a sling after getting a splinter in my thumb, but I think it would be "tmi". ;)

A quick question for Arch and Coffeejo about transporting two children, one five year old and one six month old, in my car. Not only do they both need car seats, but those seats need proper fixings to the frame (?) of the car, is that right? Long story short, it has been suggested that I provide a taxi service to the children and their parents, but it is not a simple matter of just putting the child seats in the car is it? I would like to be sure of my facts before telling the suggestee that it is not possible.
