I have some gardening to do, and more tidying of the garage.

Does anyone know a useful purpose for an orange box? (A wooden one, not one that is orange) I thought about a hedgehog house, but it might be a tad draughty.

i think they are used to draughts what with them being a wild mammal.

I think you'll find there is more waffling in here than actual discussions mr Mag00 :biggrin:

I must be on a permanent holiday with the amount of 'doing nothing' I do in an average week ;)

Hedgehogs hibernate for the winter. The plans I have seen on the internet for a hedgehog house, show closed sides and a sort of tunnel entrance. A bit like an igloo, but square and not made of snow. :unsure:

I shall save up odd bits of wood for the sides. How tall are hedgehogs?

Gardening has been postponed due to rain!

The hedgehog that came into my bedroom last summer was huge - it was in the middle of the night and I wasn't really awake but IIRC, s/he was about the length of a 1.5kg bag of flour and about twice as high (when laid flat out, not standing upright!).

I now have this chappy as a pincushion:
