Off again soon for a few more miles at a leisuerely(Jo) type pace

That fast? Are you Cheetara in real life?

I like the notion of a WNRtvCJ for the promised food and beers, but it could be a bit of a tall order...

MTFU

Last year I climbed the steps to the combine at SB and sat in the seat. Those things are bloody big, would love to have a go. I'm thinking of learning how to drive a tractor when I go back to college. :-)

My landlord let me drive some of the farm tractors last summer. He withdrew permission after I got the tractor and roller wedged between two apple trees in the orchard. He was ok about it the first time it happened, but decided I wasn't to be trusted when I managed it again

Morning all.

Bit bleary, had a long day out yesterday, only got in at three. Today I have to go out at some stage and get Oli's birthday present - something Dragon themed, I'm told.

Dragons? What about trains, and tractors?

I think dragons are the thing of the moment, that's all. No doubt trains and tractors wre still interesting, and will come to the fore again.

But hopefully the dragon phase will last until next week, since I've done my shopping now!

Tea?

I'm getting seriously concerned about you, NT. You're mad, you are!!!

I do also have, now, a pair of VW bus gear reduction hubs at 1.26:1. I am thinking of adding them to the tractor axle to reduce the loading on the diff gears.

I'm not mad, honest. I'm just making up for not having Meccano when I was a kid. Also, I just see it as model making, but at a 1:1 scale.

I do not think I could manage even a cup of tea. I have been out to a party. Lots of lovely sandwiches, and crisps and little sausages and crisps and more sandwiches and chocolate cake and scones. (Plently left over so I was asked if I would like to take some home for supper - it would have been rude to say no, wouldn't it?)

There was wine and coffee as well.
