Special dessert this evening - Belgian waffles (toasted) with extra creamy Madagascan vanilla ice cream. Would anyone like some?

Although Waffles isn't Belgian - she's a Geordie IIRC.

Ahhh just realising how much work we have to do for the Horticulture foundation degree, we have been put into groups to prepare a ten minuet talk. Guess who got put in a group with someone who doesn't turn up to lectures?

At least its a reflective learning exercise, so we will be able to say who wasn't pulling there weight.

Some of our lecturers don't do what they have promised. I'm trying to prepare a plant cropping schedule, without being shown how to do one first. This is after repeatedly being promised by said lecturer, that he would bring some past ones for comparison.

It feels like being cast a drift in a boat without the paddle. Don't Panic...

Speich!

The translation is OK, but I found it a little too formal and literal!

I could have done a better job!

It can be tricky to follow, so I usually record it as well as watching it. There is only so much my brain can cope with at this time of night! Thanks for your input, the dialogue does read a bit oddly. I am not normally a fan of subtitles, but with Wallender I make an exception.
