Have you got a local pub?
Nip in, quick half and drop the kids off at the pool.
Sorted!!!

Alas, I have to be here when the men from Anglain Water arrive as they usually send a different bunch every time & I have to show them where the root of the problem is: about 1/4 mile away...

And I don't have any young goats!

Not sure I want to know about the swimming lessons but wanted to say - Wafflycat, I tried pease pudding the other week and it was pretty good

A friend had been back home and brought some back along with stotties and saveloys and made a pretty fine butty with them.

In that case, you might have to supplement the compost...

Sorry - that was aimed at young Waffles, Not a comment on the stottie cakes.

Evening all! Got home at 5, finished the knitted Aye Aye, had a shower, put my work stuff in to soak (a weeks accumulated recycling grime), and in 5 mins have to leave to go to the pub for someone's leavig meal - which is why I had to finish the Aye Aye.

See ya later!

Who left the door open?

Hee hee, I'm posting from the bath!:blush:

BTW So true, Doc' it wasn't nearly raining enough to meet up today.;)

As I have had to make lots of trips to and from the house I am finally glad to divest myself of my soggy garb(I've had my overshoes on all day:eek:).

My pyjamas, the ones with robots and spacemen on('tis true!) are on the radiator warming nicely.

Shocking day out there today!

Tea anyone?

Pease pudding is a delicious thing to have with ham in a stottie *yum*

Also delicious hot with a roast gammon *drool*

Morning all! Just off out to pay in a cheque (hoorah!), buy some araldite to stick my headtube badge on, and some groceries.

Not too hungover, despite two whole pints last night - they were absorbed somewhat by a rather hefty portion of rabbit pie and chips. If I listened very hard, I could hear, very softly, 'Bright eyes'...;)

Having two houses is just greedy, think about all those people struggling to get on the property ladder because some people insist on having more than one house.
