The only thing in the entire universe where n+1 properly applies is in relation to pedal cycles.

I hope that helps ...

Not at all - n+1 applies equally well to jaffa cakes, poppadums and biskits of all sorts IME.
Yay! for the house nonetheless .

If Arch has been eating rabbit pie, does this make her some sort of bunny-baker?;)

Can't wait, going to see my allotment tomorrow, already making list of things we would like to grow. Bikepetes thinking of shed designs already. ;)

Or sheds to put the n+1 in? I don't think Landslide has enough bikes to need n+1 houses:biggrin:.

Well, if that's the case, and following the reference to it's logical conclusion, you need to be worried...

Hoorah Landslide! You got the whole electrics issue sorted then? (or at least, it hasn't been a deal breaker.)

A bikecave sounds like a very good idea.... Will it have a secret elevator entrance?

Right after the sparky's done!

Tell him not to screw the sockets and switches into the walls so we can paper and paint behind them...

How exciting! Do you need to do much serious stuff apart from the leccy, or will you be able to launch straight into making it your own, decor wise?

Not that decor is the main thing, of course, but never having owned a place of my own, I do sometimes think how nice it would be to choose colours etc... Rented magnolia gets a bit samey.

Sparky'll probably be there about the same time as I'm ripping out carefully removing the old kitchen units (bikecave storage in waiting;)), then it'll be a case of paper and paint! Given that we want to move in ASAP, there may well be a first coat of white so we can make the place livable first, then we'll enter the wonderful world of colour charts!

Cool - good way to do it, gives you time to settle into the place and decide what will suit you and the house, rather than dashing straight into a decor you come to dislike.

Now, remember, when you move, pack the kettle right on top where you can find it first....

Mornings!

Tea on the go and toast made from homebaked bread (Kamut/white mix). My niece, her partner & their daughter are flying off to New Zealand this morning - for good. I am incredibly happy for them. I do, however, admit to having a tear in my eye.

It'd only take you a couple of months to cycle there, surely? If you set off now, they'd be done with the unpacking and everything!
Wombling around on YouTube, as you do, I noticed that Steeleye Span were singing about the flashier of our teapots before teh Interwebs were even invented. She's a sharp one is Maddie Prior...
