Could do with a cuppa...I just can't shake off this bloody cold.

It was peeing with rain when I got up this morning.
But it stopped before I left for work... however it is so mild that I had to take my jacket off as I was boiling up.
It's november and I am commuting in a ss shirt for chrissakes.....

I hope little Peanut Henry is better. Have you got plans for a quiet "Daddy Day" tomorrow?

Peanut is fine now Speich thanks for asking.
Haven't got any plans. It's dependent on the weather.. may pop to the Arallsopp's for a cuppa if they are about. Have a nosey at his new machine, followed by the park to feed the boids.

Henry is now fascinated with one of my torches.
Seeing him shining the torch on the floor and him trying to tread on the beam brings cats chasing a piece of string to mind....

Time for a nice cuppa before dinner I think.

I went out earlier on to buy some 25mm black webbing strap to make another saddle bag. It chucked it down with rain before I set out so I went once it stopped. Having got the webbing I then had to go to the engravers, and then the heavens opened! Heavy driving rain, hail stones, flash flooding as the water tried to drain off the roads. Legs wet, coat wet, helmet wet, buff wet, Tiddles wet, saddle bag wet on the outside but bone dry on the inside!

I have my second saddle bag made, much nicer and better made then the first but still some alterations to be made.

Right, I am going to have to get my name on the side of these things, and a price tag.;)

Have you put a pic of these up NT?

Missed the rain, must have been asleep. Forecast is for more heavy rain early tomorrow morning just as I'm riding home :rain:
Looks like the paniers will be full of waterproof gear then, at least that means there is less room to stuff them with cakes and biscuits :mrpig:

The sensible peeps on this thread might know the answer to this question.

Do most, if not all, mobile phone numbers start 079 ?

Is 075 one of those web phone hub thing majigs? (like wot would be on a puter?)

Look Posty, when I was ickle, phones were large, black and had a circular dial.
My first phone number after leaving home was the name of the village followed by 403.

The first mobile phones had a battery the size of ten house bricks.
