I miss Baileys.

I'll get another bottle after Christmas and drink that one just for you :highfive:

That's the one I just got from B&Q for £30! I thought it was £20 but someone had put it back in the wrong place on the shelf where the no digital display ones were. I decided I wanted the digital display so I could see if there were low levels of CO rather then wondering if it was working at all until the first beep. I could have got one from Amazon but I wanted one immediatly
So far it is reading zero so I am happy.

Yesterday it was mad drivers day, today it was mad cyclists.
I drove out via the GP, B&Q, the Traffic Centre and Evans at Ice Cool. I only saw one cyclist with lights and he was riding the wrong way through a road junction and forcing his way onto the pavement through pedestrians to continue his ride against the flow of people even though the road at that point was devoid of motor traffic.

I like Bailey's but I prefer the idea of making my own. Fresh single cream and whiskey? Or fresh double cream and double whiskey? Should the cream be at room temperature? I can see some experimentation will be needed.

Ow.

Ow ow ow ow ow.

I've sprained my ankle... :B) (no sprained ankle smiley).

I was climbing on Beryl to get a bag of shredded paper off the roof, and my foot slipped off the wheel and I fell, with a shriek my colleague described as 'Like Nigel falling off the roof but shorter', landing on one ankle, my bum and one elbow. Only fell about 12", but it was enough. I've got a cold compress on the ankle now, and my foot up on a chair. I walked home on it, so it's obviously not badly damaged, but it does hurt....

I expect when it stops hurting, my elbow will take over.

I'm applying :cuppa: internally.

I bought some ibuprofen anti-inflammatories on the way home, as I normally only have paracetamol. I don't feel the need to take one for the pain at the moment, but should I take one for the anti-inflammatory stuff anyway?

Last night Leo the cat was very unwell. Of his own accord he jumped onto my lap, and made himself comfy then promptly fell asleep. That is the second time this year he has done that. Neither he nor Tasha like sitting on people. Tasha manages it for about two minutes, if I am lucky.
