Rolling down the hills with the bike.
I used to have a bottle cage though it broke because you are meant to slide the bottle off the cage. I picked it up and the whole bottle cage broke.. Maybe it was because it was very old bottlecage. Asda hmmm might just used a shopping bag to put my bottle there..

Well i wouldn't blame him if he did not know you all. If he did then he would more likely to share the Tea. And if he did not know you then yes a git he is.

I've just spotted the first daffodil spikes pushing through the grass. It might be <whisper it:secret:> nearly spring....
My irises have all been in flower for about 2 weeks. Tulips in same tub are 10cm high. Elsewhere in garden other tulips / bluebells / hyacinths all poking noses above ground. Park yesterday had snowdrops out in flower and crocuses a few days shy of flowering.

Yes, it was.... not like the rides I'm used to!

I have done hilly - I go to Northumberland at least once a year. But then I combine hilly with frequent cafe stops, and tend to ride in the group that I know goes at a slow pace. I found Colin's ride rather difficult. Whatever he says about being slow up hills, he ain't!
He must have been fitter then, he is slow now :giggle:
I do look at the other members that sign up for the rides, that way I have an idea of whether the ride will be relaxed or not, there are 3 or 4 of us that are similar ability so if say 2 of those are turning out I am much happier, than say just me and Colin and the rest all being speedy types (not you Phil)

Was going for a slightly extended ride home, but there is a bit of ice about in patches and I almost lost it twice so opted to get back on road and come straight home.
Shame as it has turned out to be a glorious day, if a bit :cold:

I'm going to Northumberland for a holiday later this year :-)

Ooh, whereabouts? If you're in the right area, I can recommend about half a dozen nice cafes....

I'm just having :cuppa:. I've washed off some tyre treads, cut the bead off another, and put a small laundry load into soak, as well as getting some groceries in, and travelling 70 miles on a train.

Gonna make myself a triple batch of spag bol sauce tonight, because tomorrow and Weds I'm cleaning at St Nicks, and I'll be later home and not too bothered about cooking...
