Ok, ok, but only because it's snowing

Is a 40 mile round trip in the snow worth it for a free coffee (S promised if I make it) and some of the most delicious cakes and other grub in the south west?
I'm going to eat your share of food today just in case :hungry:
Saturday 'full' English coming up :mrpig:

Ready for the :snowball: later?

I have made some carrot soup. No onions, but generous amount of mixed peppers from the freezer, with Five Spice Powder. Made in the microwave. Excellent. I made it thicker that I normally do, so that when I add some milk, it does not go too runny. It was surprisingly filling.

Pudding this evening will be baked apple in some form or another. It is snowing outside!

I *think* I have sorted out my cold hands problem. I went into Sports Direct t'other day and got a couple of pairs of Karrimor gloves - liners and thermal gloves with grips. The liners fit nicely under my Altura ones and the grip gloves go over the top. By the time I got my home, my hands were a bit cold but not so much that they hurt. :wahhey:

And I also got a pair of those heat holder thermal socks. My feet were very cold by the time I got back but I think that could be easily solved with a thin pair of thermal socks. Obviously, now that I've bought all this, the cold snap will retreat for another year, though I did cut my hair last night so I guess it could go either way...

Anyone for :cuppa:?

No pictures of you eating thier babies then? And does the cafe do a nice line in Chicken Soup, Coq au Vin, Chicken Ceasar Salad etc...

Where is it, BTW?

I'm just having :cuppa: in a break from belting. I have 15 of them mostly made up, just the tedious hard job of punching all the holes in left to do. It's not the tedium that's hard, it's the power required to get the hand punch through some of the tougher tyres.... :training: I've only got little girly hands...:girldance:
