Has anyone on this thread used Play.com for purchasing Dvds. I usually use Azoman, but as they are currently raising tax evasion to an art form, I am disinclined to give them my earth pounds.
I have used them before for various bits and bobs, not for ages though.
Did have a weird e-mail a while ago with what looked like details from my Play account showing a large purchase (£150+) and asking me to confirm my credit card details, my card provider was informed and they knew about the scam.

Yes, if you are recycling metal, and they are mostly broken, that is excellent. What about mending umbrellas? with spare spokes, or is that taking things just a teensy bit too far?

I am on the lookout for a sieve with a very fine mesh, but large. My latest batch of compost is very good, except with lots of small pieces of paper in it. I have a garden sieve with large holes, but not one with small holes. It still amazes me that I put prunings from plants, grass cuttings, cardboard, vegetable peelings, egg shells, and shredded torn paper, and very good compost appears some ten months later, and it is not smelly or splodgey. ^_^

I had an email a couple of weeks ago, proporting to be from Paypal, saying something about unusual activity on my account. Yes they were right, I had not used Paypal for a few weeks, but I guess that is not what they meant. The other clue to it not being from Paypal, was that the message (and links) they so very kindly gave me, was repeated a couple of hundred times. I hope that means that a couple of hundred people did not received the same email.

Catnip for Leo and :cuppa: and hot cross buns for everyone else.

Speicher, I've been using play.com for ages, never had any problems with them, always a very prompt delivery.

I thought I could recall good things said about Play.com. I presume if I do a search for a particular dvd, it takes me to where the new ones are sold. I am a bit puzzled as to why they list other "new" ones that are more expensive than the ones on their website. Can people sell dvds on Play.com?

I would much prefer new ones, if I am buying dvds, not that I buy many anyway.

Yes, people do sell on there - they started it to keep up with Amazon Marketplace and eBay, but it's not as successful for the very reason you pointed out

I've just debeaded 20 tyres in an hour... Need a rest now to let my hands recover from gripping the tyres and the Stanley knife....

Any :cuppa: on the go?
