I've been making a 'transmission tunnel' for my tractor.
It is 4mm plywood that used to be a bit of old theatre set hence the ASBO green colour scheme. I will paint it satin black later.

Or claim it's a John Deere.....

I think you need a cup holder in there, and a nick nack tray like you get in cars around the handbrake. You never know when you're going to need your nick nacks, when you're tractoring.

How infrequently do you change your sheets?



The ASBO green is no more, I have painted all the woodwork and the seat satin black.
I will do something like fit a cup holder and small cubby hole, it is just crying out for it.

Once a fortnight but the duvet changing is such a rigmarole that it's always worth celebrating.

When my sister left home to live with her boyfriend, she occasionally rang my Mum for household advice. One call was "How the hell do you get a duvet cover on?"

And someone I knew at uni came home one day to find a freshly washed duvet cover bunched up and rolling around at the top of the stairs. The cat had pulled it onto the landing while it hung over the bannisters, got inside it and was inches away from rolling all the way down....

It's a short step to having a glove box, you know.

And someone I knew at uni came home one day to find a freshly washed duvet cover bunched up and rolling around at the top of the stairs. The cat had pulled it onto the landing while it hung over the bannisters, got inside it and was inches away from rolling all the way down....

That would be me, if I had stairs... Can't wait for summer, then I can change back to sheets and blankets. More work, but much less dangerous to my health.

What a morning!

There has been some sun, wind, rain and hail.
The last lot of hail, just ending now, has been so heavy the scene outside looks like we're due a white Christmas!

Blimey, that must have hurt (if anyone was out in it). Lots of here but this morning had the odd experience of fierce rain on one side of the house but bright sunshine on t'other.

I am keeping a close eye on the puddles forming on the factory floor so as I know how to dress for the return commute
