Well, it fitted and I now have somewhere to sit while I wash so everything is ok.

Besides, Arch will now threaten to sit on me this weekend.:hyper::thumbsup:

Or....

Arch could refuse to sit on you, as a punishment. :headshake:

;)

Now, this really is taking the p***. The 'a' on my USB keyboard seems to have packed up. I'm having to type all 'a's on the laptop keyboard, and all other letters on the USB one. Oh, also q and the last letter of the alphabet, which I now have on neither keyboard. :cursing:

Ah, good, a restart seems to have cure that. It was going to make typing very complicated!

Glad your keyboard is working again.

I have just been downstairs again, to the granny flat. Mainly to try and have dinner with my folks but also because Dad hadn't come up to give me my injection. I took one down with me and he was watching the football.
While he was getting ready to jab me I was quietly saying to the TV "Don't score, do not score!".
Granted Dad probably wouldn't have jumped up mid jab but he might have been a little distracted.

When I told my Mum about NT and his plaster, I mentioned the fact that they'd set it so that his foot was flexed. I called just now to update her and she admitted to thinking up the following 'joke': that NT had a hospital acquired inflexion....

In other news, Max is apparently now counting: one, two three, four, torteen, tixteen.

I think I blew my diet to hell and back at the pub last night. Steak and ale pie followed by the world's most delicious sticky toffee pudding. With cream. Cycling home after that was a bit of an effort. :mrpig: :hungry: Funnily enough, not been particularly hungry today.

Thank you, though eating cake through gritted teeth is a bit frustrating.:banghead:

May have to take the boot off and have a shower to let it rest a bit, but from yesterday it seemed to hurt more unsupported.

Warm water might ease it a bit, and at least with your new seat to sit on* it might be easier.

*but you're still a naughty boy!

Yay! I can wash properly and in some degree of comfort.:wahhey:
So much nicer seated on warm wet wood then cold wet cast iron. The seat is also just the right height (or the bath just the right depth) for me to put my leg down without too much discomfort.

Getting in was, err, interesting but getting out wasn't too bad.

I have changed the dressing on my broken toe but kept the same sock to wear in the boot as it was fresh on this lunchtime.

Still getting spasms though.

Right, need to deal with a slight headache around my left temple and watch The Bridges That Built London on BBC4.

Washing is always good, yes.
If you don't then people have a tendancy to seem a bit distant after a week or two....

In other news, can we think of anyone who'd like one of these?
