I'm not long in from the BBQ. It was good and I had a great time out. People liked the bread and I also had a request for another cake and a bike, if I can find one.

This bike was there.

Interestingly it had a sprocket on both sides of the hub. Both fixed and both the same size!
Campag cranks and seat post apparently, and rather light weight.

I know you've got quite a large oven, but I'm not sure you're going to be able to make a full sized bike in it.

A Brompton, maybe, if folded.

<wonders if anyone has actually ever tried to get a Brompton in an oven. Would save on storage space, if one didn't use the oven much>

Phew, it's nearly the weekend. Been a tiring week.

I don't have a Brompton, but the website says "The dimensions of the folded bike are: 585mm high x 565mm long x 270mm wide (23" x 22.2" x 10.6").

Won't fit in our oven - which I've just measured. 470mm x 380 mm x 430mm (width, height and depth respectively).

This reminds me of stories about apartment dwellers in New York keeping books in their refrigerator.

My oven is 30"w 13"h 17"d, I could get the Brompton in there but not shut the door.

Grilled Brompton anyone?:hungry:^_^
