This wouldn't be Potsy going shopping would it?

Either that, or he's practising for mowing the lawn...

I'm just back, having diverted through town to buy a couple of birthday cards and an unbirthday present. :tired: now. After a reviving :cuppa: I will make a list and go grocery shopping, having simultaneously run out of several things - including both jam and honey. My toast on Friday morning was rather dull.

If I had a bananananananana I would make a banana and chocolate cake.

Don't you mean a bananananananana and chocolate cake?

Or...

If I had a bananananananana I would make a banana and chocolate cake. If I had some chocolate.

Shopping done. All stocked up. In the interests of increased economy, I'm trying pork luncheon meat instead of ham for my work lunches.
Also got some laundry in to soak. Time to have some more :cuppa:, and then cook a batch of pasta sauce for the week.

This is pre-sliced. I'm not awake enough in the morning to slice stuff!

I'd love to have corned beef some days, but have you seen the price of sliced corned beef, it might as well be gold! And if I bought a tin, the slices would be so thick I'd need a bigger lunchbox...

Corned dog (beef) is my favourite, but agree about the price, it seemed to shoot up some time last year
Not a fan of Spam, but am currently liking wafer thin ham on cheese topped barms :hungry:

Must stop reading, it's making me hungry

Yes, I thought corned beef was meant to be a cheap food. Maybe the price of imported beef went up.

Mmmmmm. Corned beef hash...
:hungry:

I keep my corned beef in the fridge as it is easier to thin slice when it is really cold.
The alternative would be to get it up to room temp, or just over, and then break it up with a fork to make a coarse meat pate spread.

I like Ox tongue.

I am hungry now.:mrpig:
