Independent tea shops are *always* better than pantsy chains, supermarkets or not.

*gets off soapbox*

Lots of :rain: here. As in torrential. Again.

*gets on grumpybox*

Still, I spotted this gem hidden amongst some random photos that Mother Dearest posted on FB:

Ah :cuppa:!

We wented to the seaside, and it raineded.

Fortunately we had just enough dry weather to walk from the the car to a cafe for lunch, and then along the beach back again. Crutches in sand are interesting (and funny, if you're not the one trying not to sink!)

Coming back, we had a scenic drive via Betwys-Coed, and the M56, where it rained. A lot. Still, I'm gettting plenty of wet weather driving practice!

We went to Wales to play on the beach at Rhos-on-Sea.
It rained on the way there:rain: but stopped when we were outside.
We found a playground gym where we had a play.:hyper:

Then it rained :rain: when we had lunch in a cafe:hungry: and stopped when we went on the beach and back to the car.

Then we came home the scenic route via Betws-y-Coed and it rained:rain::rain::rain: a lot during the drive.
Nearly 200 miles round trip and it was great being out and about.
