Tea? (Part 2)

On the subject of gatecrashing weddings, my boss was saying when her sister got married, it was at a big hotel, and there were a couple of other functions going on too. When it got a bit dull, she and the groomsmen when off and gatecrashed the other wedding, to the point of shaking hands with the bride, and weren't rumbled. Her sister had provided a disposable camera for each table, so they all took photos at the other reception, to see if anyone noticed when they were processed!

You'd not be surprised to learnt that I love the icing and marzipan....

I like it but not in the proportion to cake ratio that you get with wedding cake.

Having said that I ate the whole of the second tier of my wedding cake while on honeymoon.

Everytime people find out I have been married twice before they always without fail say do you like wedding cake?

I've stayed married to the same person for almost 20 years, I wonder if it has anything to do with my dislike of wedding cake?
Ours had a tier of chocolate cake just for me, but after all that effort I didn't even get a slice!

Arch and I will have a cake of cheese, pork pie and fruit cake, AFAIK! There may be further additions....
We don't even have a date yet (nor a year) but we know how and where we want the 'party' and what we are having for food!

I thought that the contributors on here might like this surprising sight that greeted me while riding through The Quarry yesterday:

Not what I expected while riding through the park. The Ffestiniog Railway had a stand at the Shrewsbury Flower Show this year and Linda was waiting for her lift home.

I've spent so long catching up with CycleChat that I've let my go cold. (Rushes off to get more.)

Arch is back in York having had a Mars bar and a sausage roll for lunch. Unfortunately, she can't tell you that herself as she left her internet at mine.
That will hit her post rate hard!
