What do the physios say? How long will you have to wait?
Not back until next Tuesday but the rate of progress will be slow. I am not allowed to move about without the boot for another three weeks at least, though I will be allowed to continue to do physio exercises when I get them. I don't have the strength in my calf to even balance standing up never mind push a pedal yet.
The physio did suggest that I might be getting on the bikes at their gym before I can get on my own on the road.

The 'bent might be an idea to start with.
Last thing you want is a sudden off and wreck the thing again...
I had considered that but given the weight of the Ratrike I could do with something easier to use on a day to day keeping fit ride.^_^
I might see if I can put it on my trainer to use though.

I am afraid of coming off an upright, but also of over stressing when riding as I naturally put my right foot down and power away with my left. Reversing that to save the strain on my left also foot puts it at risk as I will be landing on it when I stop.

The main need to ride is when I go to visit Arch and the only option then is the Brompton. Until I can ride Tiddles again getting over there will be difficult or at least awkward.

The way it feels I might well be cycling before I can even work the clutch on the car.

Oh dear, two bottles on wine and cake nibbles gone ! Better stop now seeing as me and the kids are speedwaying tomorrow !

House husband duties today (well my version of it!) my wife's at work all day today. It's raining heavily and though I don't mind the rain the two little ones are not keen (my excuse! Is it valid?).
Hopefully have a trip to my mums and popping in to Halfords to try on the Bell XLV helmet, if it fits ok I will buy online as I can get it delivered for £23.99, in store at £34, wonder if they will match that?

Now where's the teapot?

What?????Spammer terms????
Yes, I am searching for spammers on another forum's membership list. I could go through all the members but it is easier if I do a search for terms the spammers use like: cash, money, enhancement, cosmetic, dental, seo, executive, etc.
It then brings up a list of between 10 and 150 members at a time that I can check and ban. Only 24,140 members to go.
I will get the membership down to less then 24,000 by lunchtime.

Breaking it up into smaller chunks makes it easier and less daunting to get through, a bit like 'Land Lady's cake' as they used to say back in the 50's.^_^
