and popping in to Halfords to try on the Bell XLV helmet, if it fits ok I will buy online as I can get it delivered for £23.99, in store at £34, wonder if they will match that?

I have just tried to explain what a teapot is to Max (7), we make it in the mug.

I got ours out from the back of the cupoard and showed him, his response was;

" how do you plug it in ? "

I had hummus and a banananananana.

Just finishing off a then taking the dog out - we'll be stopping off at the feed merchants to get more bird food. For once, the rate at which it's being consumed is not because of a squirrel but rather a swarm of finches who stop by several times a day. There were 11 of them earlier. 15 yesterday. And that's not counting the woodpeckers, nuthatches, blue tits, great tits, long-tailed tits, coal tits, bull finches, green finches, sparrows, robins, blackbirds and pied wagtails.

Thought I would dust the teapot off and give it a go, the whole silver tray set sugar bowl and all. They loved it, sometimes cheap entertainment is staring you in the face.

A major storm has just started. I wonder if Potsy is on his bike?

Just watched a couple, in tee shirts, shorts, and carrying carrier bags of shopping, hide under a tree when the rain started. They stayed there a while but were getting soaked by the sideways rain and the waves of splashes from passing cars. They finally carried on walking looking like drenched cats.

I guess they didn't watch the weather forecast for today.

Very windy here. Think I'll be taking along a windproof and the waterproof for tonight's pub ride

I am waiting to see if the rain on Potsy later is as heavy as the forecasters predict.

For once I am actually glad to be on night shift, woke up to the cat's chorus of crying and a slightly damp look to the garden
Hopefully it willhave blown over before tonight's commute, but first
