Not long back from a garden centre near Cambridge, where I met up with Waffles (formerly of this parish) for tea and comestibles. She'd had a delightful ride down on Monty (her Vespa).

I have just rebuilt my favorite Puma rucksack. The material on the main part of the rucksack had de-laminated and was creating little bits of plastic sheet inside. I have replace the offending fabric with a piece form an old rubberised tent ground sheet. It meant unpicking the whole rucksack and then refitting the side pockets, the drawstring, the cover and the padded back and straps to the replacement material. I took the opportunity to make the rucksack a little larger and also fitted a leather bottom to it.
I am happy, I have my rucksack back!
