If it's the right size then yes, go for it!! Shimano 600 was a very capable set of kit in it's day - 600 was rebadged as Ultegra. Personally, I'd swap the brakes out for modern dual pivot (or at least the front one) as brakes really have improved out of all recognition, but the bike itself should be sound. Steel is, as they say, real.
Many thanks, if I am honest I did not notice it was 25 inch frame! All my old bikes have been the large frames but I guess this one may be a bit to big, I am 6ft.
This 23 inch may be better, what were these like in there day?

:cheers: Have you noticed if you pour your tea from a decent height the resulting froth insulates the tea, keeping it hot much longer?

Even if the chip doesnt work they may still be able to swipe it using the magnetic strip on the back .................... assuming you havent wiped that as well :whistle:
