I used to have a pig who was on the other end of the scale to "nice".I like animals, never met one that wasn't nice.

Since I was last on here I was admiitted to hospital on Friday with suspected blood poisoning after a day vomiting, which they then decided was appendicitis and took me down to surgery at 4pm on Saturday. Back on the ward at 9pm and discharged at 1pm on Sunday!!! The surgeon came to see me to tell me my appendix had been tagged to my large intestine by a fat tag which has probably been there for years but had contracted during weight loss causing it to start to tear... luckily it didn't rip or things would have got very serious very fast.... So, dieting isn't always a good thing, though I went in at 91kgs and now weigh 87kg!
Spent the time since in bed feeling wobbly but up today with a sore abdomen.... The RVI in Newcastle id fantastic and I love them to bits! Mrs A+T's been a star.

I like, but being slightly pedantic it's Stiperstones not Stipperstones. It grates slightly when I hear people pronouncing it stipper instead of styper.Or re"name" them after the OS map numbers.
Anyone want a? I've just had a long wallow in the bath. After three days of walking up the Malvern Hills, Long Mynd and the Stipperstones, my muscles are letting themselves be heard loud and clear. It turns out that the muscles you use for walking are not the same as the ones you use for cycling.

[pedant mode off]. You enjoyed this part of the world then?![]()
Yeah, I know.
Up from Church Stretton to Devil's Mouth and meandered around the footpaths on the top - I've no idea what route we took while we were up there, but we did find the trig point. We there on Saturday and the sun didn't break through the clouds until we were back at the holiday cottage, but the mist just added extra atmosphere.Yeah, I know.Oddly I've never cycled around the Stiperstones, I'll have to rectify that. I do go over the Long Mynd regularly though - which bit did you walk up?
