Found out my results today, but have to keep the quiet until I get the paper work. My Auntie's cancer has progressed rapidly, they have withdraw food and water as she is under strong sedation. I don't know whether to or as it's so soon after my mum's death. I'm not going to see her as I would like to remember her the way she was. A luxury I didn't have with my own mum. Oh well life's twists and turns.

I think you're doing the right thing, if it's what you want.

And I know it's little comfort, but perhaps a rapid decline is better than lingering too long.

I think so too. My mum had a lingering one, you just end up praying for it to happen. Don't get me wrong I was gratefully for the time we had, to sort things out but it's not nice seeing someone like that.

I think it's the immediate family who need to be around her, like we were for my mum.
