NT needs a rest. he Did Too Much yesterday, although he assures me he had fun!
I survived though!
I went out on a collection round with Arch in the morning, to monitor and observe the work and activities around Beryl (the electric truck) with a view to implementing improvements. I did take part in the kerbside sorting as well.

Then, after lunch, I was blowing up balloons and tearing newspaper into strips for the evening activities but that was boring and didn't take long.

There were some volunteers outside working some logs into a wood store and I couldn't help but get involved. It was good showing them how to cut joints and use tools more effectively.

Then Arch returned and caught me.
The hardest part of the day was the back breaking task of applying strips of soggy, sticky paper to squeaky balloons. Not an easy job to do sitting down so we were all standing for most of the 3 hours.
I think my back may have just about forgiven me though my calf muscles are still not talking to me!
I am going to warm up and then do my exercises this morning before heading out for a wonder around York's shops. Not sure what else I might do today, yet.

I will get down to my car and see if I am able to depress the clutch pedal though. I really want to be able to do some driving this weekend and to drive my car home.
