When I was a bachelor gay (is that the right phrase) - I mean single (before meeting Mrs R) - pasta and rat was the only meal that I could cook, so I ate a lot of it....I still like it.

I find it's a good way to batch cook*, and to get vegetables into my diet.

I cook a big panfull on a Monday, when I'm off work and have time, and then portion it up for the week, into three extra tubfuls. Each one only takes minutes to reheat on the following days, when I get in from work shattered. It sees me through to Thursday, and then Fri - Sun, I'm either at NT's or he's here and I cook more creatively.... I have a talent for not minding the same thing all the time for dinner. (or lunch, as my work lunch is the same everyday too! Oh, and breakfast....)

Guten nacht

I was supposed to going to see La Boheme tonight. Instead I have listened to Public Enemy and then Gilbert and Sullivan's Pirates of Penzance, Electic? C'est moi?
