Just popped my head into the Coffee? thread and saw this:

Is this bad? Will I be shunned if you find out I only drink decaff tea?

Do you mean normal tea but decaff or compost?

Nothing wrong with decaff. It allows me to drink tea and sleep.

Not quite sure what you mean there.

I found out by chance that I'm allergic to caffeine and that it had been causing the blisters and splitting skin on my hands so now I only drink decaffeinated tea.

I don't notice any difference in taste.

Oh, I see. Normal but decaff. I have tried green tea and quite liked it but no one else in the house does so I shan't bother to get any just for me.

I'm not so keen on green tea and fruit tea never tastes as tempting as it smells. I have resigned myself to Earl Grey, leaded in the mornings and unleaded for the rest of the day.
Occasionally I replace tea with hot black current and apple cordial.

I am going to spend the morning researching aluminium welding kit for my welder.

Aluminium welding.....that sounds fun. Is there a new project on the way?

I have a huge pile of aluminium tubes from old scout tents and a commission for a cycle trailer. I figured I could make better use of the tubes if I could weld them rather then gluing and stainless steel cable tying them. I can already bend them with a pipe bender, I just need to make some more former sizes.
