I don't like the muli-national tax avoidance thing either! It matters not one jot what Amazon call it, it does not work! Where possible for books, I use Abebooks, or Worldofbooks, as I am not in the least impressed with Amazon's reasons for tax avoidance.
Thank you for trying to help.I don't like the muli-national tax avoidance thing either!
Forgetting that ... I have the Kindle reader on my XP desktop computer and my XP pro laptop and it does what it says on the virtual tin! (As does the Kindle Android app on my Galaxy Tab.)
What operating system does your computer have? Windows 7
Does the Kindle installer run okay? No
If it installed okay, what happens when you try to run it?
@wolly I think you need Kindle for pc, I have it on my puter and it works just fineI think I have got Kindle for pc.
Maybe you need a schoolboy to explain it better, give @bumpkin a nudge![]()
That's okay!Thank you for trying to help.
That's okay!
I found this discussion which might point you in the right direction. I think making sure you run the installation program from an administrator account might be the answer.
Can't help with kindle stuff, given that I'm not a schoolboy (bad @fatcat), but yes, dropbox is indeed reputable. I don't like it but that's another story. Is the Dropbox site a reputable one, @Colin?
I haven't used it, but I know a lot of people who do and they seem to like it. I'm happy just using email to pass on pictures etc.Is the Dropbox site a reputable one, @Colin?
You got colour yet or still b&w?aaahhh, thanks. Is there a version for my abacas?![]()
