Someone mentionned Ikea. I have not been inside an Ikea shop since er um..... 1995. Not that I keep a record of these things, but in 1996 I moved here, and have not been inside an Ikea shop since. Have they changed much?

Probably not. We got a chest of drawers for £20, which we assembled earlier, only with extra glue and making-sure-its-properly-square by NT. It's for me to keep clothes in over here. Also, some meatballs, and a jar of lingonberry jam.

We've just got back from B and Q, where we bought some long pieces of wood.

Of the long pieces of wood? Well, I don't know, we haven't started to use them yet, and I think they'd be a bit chewy.

I have an Ikea chair, one of those benty wood things, that is in the dining room, but I was given that from Freecycle, many moons ago.
