Yeah, but how wide is your chimney? Don't want anyone thing getting stuck...

I think the jaffa cakes will be fine. I'm yet to find a chimney that narrow

You've got to read this:
The God of Cake
My mom baked the most fantastic cake for my grandfather's 73rd birthday party. The cake was slathered in impossibly thick frosting and topped with an assortment of delightful creatures which my mom crafted out of mini-marshmallows and toothpicks. To a four-year-old child, it was a thing of wonder - half toy, half cake and all glorious possibility......................

Blimey, I'm not surprised you're :hungry: after 80 lengths!

We're not quite up yet (:cuppa: in bed), but we're hoping to get some dry lining done in the attic room today.

Outside, it's:rain:

Today I will be building a boat!

Lots of roads round here are flooded. I did try to go out in the c*r. It was an ominous sign seeing a truck with lots of "Flood" warning signs, and in several places the roads are about four inches deep in water. Some smart alec thought that if he was driving behind me flashing his headlights, and blaring his horn, while being only one foot away from my rear bumper, this would encourage me to go faster.

Not wishing to return home in my, as yet unbuilt boat, I turned round at the next roundabout and came home.

I had a few of those people behind me this morning.....even though I was driving at the speed limit myself. Grrrrrrrrrr.........

Should you change your avatar to a duck?

I would allow plenty of space between myself and the car in front, in case they got stuck. I was in second gear, but it felt like all the power went from the wheels, and as if there was limited traction with the road. How many inches does there need to be before this happens, not many I am guessing. I would have been returning this afternoon, at about 5pm in the dark and with much more traffic around. Partly I think I wimped out, partly I think I took the sensible option, it was not essential that I arrived at my destination.

Are there any aquatic wols?

We're just having a fortifying brew before going upstairs to do Building Work.

I just carried a 25kg bag of plaster up two flights of stairs. :training: Mind you, NT had to lift it into my arms and take it from me at the other end...
