Yesterday I was. Today, I am not. Tomorrow, I am.
I knew that if I left it too near the deadline for filing on-line returns, the law of Sod would dictate that he hmrc website would not let me gain access, then I would be in a big muddle, to say the least. Registering for on-line submitation of numbers pertaining to taxation takes at least two weeks.
Oh, the dog definitely got his walkies this afternoon, but his human 'grandparents' didn't volunteer to join in!Hmm, unwalked dog left alone in kitchen.........

The link from the Gov Gateway to the Hmrc site used to be a very fragile one. Eventually I spoke to a real person about this, who advised me to go direct to the Hmrc site, and not through the Gateway, despite this being the guidance given on the form received from Hmrc telling me I could submit my Self-Assessment form on-line.
Do you think it will be a good idea to stock up on large mugs, extra tea, and more biskits in readiness for on-line Tax returns by any other residents, as opposed to non-domicilliaries, of Tea?
Usually, I find that the Tax man owes me money. Very kindlyrecently he has sent three refunds, the total of which more than pays for my roof to be retiled.

That sounds like a very good way to spend a winter's afternoon![]()
I do my tax return on-line. It seems to work quite well......the only trouble I have, is remembering my password and username. It's a kind of IT Alzheimer's that I suffer from. Unfortunately there isn't a matron to tell me who I am.![]()
Username- wollyWhen I logged on this afternoon, the Hmrc had remembered my id and password.![]()
