Grrr.
Just had a somewhat frustrating fettle.:excl:
I've been fitting a mad-wide ratio 10 speed cassette to the Carbon Uberbike.:bicycle:
I broke my chain tool joining the chain up, then realised I'd threaded the chain wrongly through the rear mech.
So I took the rear mech apart to re-route the chain, got it all back together, and the cranks now feel very stiff.
Looks like a SRAM 10 speed cassette is just-a-bit wider than a Shimano, so the lockring rubs on the dropout.
I can probably sort that by removing the 1mm spacer that sits behind the cassette, but that means getting the cassette off again...:stop:

We think one of the dinosaurs is attacking the other with a view to eating it, but we're afraid to ask...

NT, do you have the photo of the tree drawing?

It's very good, with a hint of Clarice Cliff about it. His drawing is really very good, I think, for a 5 year old. I know I'm a doting old auntie, but he takes a lot of care over his drawings. He's very keen on doing dinosaurs of course, and often in that sort of landscape with receding hills. He seems to be good at copying concepts he's seen in other pictures - perspectives and views from unusual angles and so on.

Max is, of course, still at the scribble stage, but he tries.

NT and I are invited to a wedding next month, to be held under the skeleton of T Rex at a museum in Manchester. I must tell Oli!
Ahem. What are the two coloured creatures at the bottom doing?

I am wide awake and up and about. I have a :cuppa: and have had breakfast and have found some odd lumps on my wrists. They look like flea bite lumps but without the bite, more like an allergic reaction to something.

I had an allergic reaction to something in the medical centre waiting room yesterday. As soon as I walked in my eyes and nose started running and I was sneezing a lot. It only began to clear up about half an hour after I left the room.

6 hours into my day and I am exhausted.:tired:

Got my shopping done, though not without a lot of .
The room is 2.45m x 2.6m. B&Q skirting boards were 2.4m long.
The door liner is 2.11m tall. B&Q architrave is 2.1m long.

I will be  over this to avoid too many splices with teeny tiny short bits of timber.

I also looked at window roller blinds and found a fabric I really quite liked, light with a pale grey leafy flowery motif.
However, it only comes in 1.6m long and the window needs a 1.81m drop inside the reveal.

The giant coffee cup is 43cm across and 13cm tall. This means it is big enough for Potsy to have a bath. ^_^

Unfortunately it is currently in France, and weighs about 10kg (as there is a matching side plate) so the postage is prohibitive.
