It went well, the mass is in the muscle tissue and is not in any way attached to my spine, it is also benign. However because of the position it can pinch the nerves that emerge from the spinal column at that point, which gives me the spasms in the right hip. So it's up to me and the GP to decide if we ignore it and put up with the occasional pain or they whip it out.
I am sure that with the careful use of upturned roasting tins, and existing cake tins, I could avoid spending Earth Pounds on those particular tins, but the overall effect is quirky and interesting.
