Not so great for someone who is lactose intolerant though...

He's taken to his bed for an hour after lunch. We did get to B and Q for more paint earlier. Poor NT felt really bad last night, with the sore throat suddenly getting a lot worst and lower down in his chest. I wonder if the plaster dust exacerbated it. He was very croaky first thing, but has gradually improved to merely feeling rotten.

I suppose there's nothing to stop me just going and starting painting on my own, but I'm curled up under a blanket on the sofa. He's told me to wake him in half an hour or so, I'll make some honey and ginger Earl Grey for him.

I find milk the worst thing when I am croaky, just seems to stick in the throat and causes more horrible flem

No ice, it was just warm enough to prevent black ice. There was a chilly north wind but this blew us back.

I really need to fettle my new lights onto my commuting bike, but it's far too to venture out to the BikeCave. I shall have a further and ponder the matter. After I've got this fire going...

I don't have man flu.
I am up and about and due to do some more decorating (I think). I have a with ginger and honey to keep me going and just had a little dairy free iced cream.

A second coat of matt white and then this evening a coat of silk white on the walls if all goes well.
Then on to woodwork. That could be undercoated and top coated in the meantime before fitting.



I was wondering about this asteroid that is due to miss the Earth by 30,000 miles. I wonder what will happen with regards to all the orbiting rubbish and satellites up there at the same sort of distance....
Interesting times ahead.
