Yep, look out the front window.

Very impressive. I have a bucket in our back garden to catch rain water as the oracle ( my parents) advised me to water my orchids with rain water and not tap water. Seems to be working, they are all still alive which is quite something in this house

The spuds are well chuffed and in the oven, all the veg is prepped and there is a bonus batch of leek and potato soup on the simmer.

Blimey - you're 'doing a tubbycyclist'! (Otherwise familiar CycleChatter looks different after losing a lot of weight.)

I'm doing a bit of a tc myself and will post a picture when my weight is back down to 13 stone x lbs.

Do you not chuff your spuds before putting them in the oven

I'd answer that if I knew what chuffing is.

Well, I know what one sort of chuffing is, it's what steam trains do - like the one we've just seen at the East Lancs Railway...

On the subject of Starbucks, York has three that I can think of, but we've also got two Costas and three Neros, and many little independents, so it's not a monopoly!

NT and I favour a particular Neros, which is very good for people watching, and we can nearly always get a comfy armchair or sofa seat, and it's rarely too busy so we don't feel guilty lingering over one coffee each for an hour or more!

We are just back from an afternoon at the East Lancs transport museum. We also popped over to the station and watched trains.
D335 Class 40 diesel, 80080 2-6-4 heavy tank, and D3871 Class 08 diesel .
W also had tea and cake at the platform 3 buffet.

It was a really nice afternoon out. We found out where there were 4 Atkinson tractor units and a collection of Scammell Mechanical Horses that we could buy and restore.:hyper::stop::unsure:

In order to make roast potatos crispy on the outside and fluffy on the in, after part boiling shake them around in the pan (chuffing) to break up the edges, this makes them crispy.
