Evening... Had the worst migraine for a long time today. It woke me in the early hours, about 2am and it's now just on the way out. I have spent the entire day washed out and sleeping, waiting for it to go.

I've been sampling some different brews this week.

I've got Peppermint (one of my favourites)
Green Tea.
Red Bush.

I'm quite partial to a red bush - not with pink wafers though.

Uggber, Waffles!!! That sounds pretty awful.
The migraines do seem to be getting more frequent. Have you seen a medic about them?

I can hear the voices now.

Bits, I meant to say.

Oh, waffles, sorry to hear about your migraine. I can't imagine what they are like, which is one of the things I have to be grateful for.

Could Nolo come and repay your care by cooing* soothingly in your ear?

*I know they don't coo, but that contented throaty noise they make.

It was awful. Yes, been to doc. Have done the pharmacopia of the NHS and nothing controls them properly.

And one isn't allowed strong pain-relief, as one may become addicted... so sayeth the docs. Of course, pointing out to the docs that if I were of that inclination, I could satisfy the addiction on just about any street corner, yet I don't. I put up with the pain. Which is worse than childbirth and worse than breaking a bone.

Damn it happened again!! Back wheel pulled out of the frame when pulling off in easy gear with SPD pedal at just above 3 o clock (probably highest leverage) on right foot. Luckily remembered to unclick left foot!

Lucky I had stopped at a junction waiting to turn right, but could've been nasty.

Something's wrong - skewer was in hand tight, nothings twisted as far as I know, but this time I think it needs a workshop before I really trust it again. Scary.

Two sugars in that tea please - a bit shaky! Did I eat all those pink wafers last time?

Looking forward to early morning ride on Sunday- haven't had chance to cycle for 3 weeks... been getting withdrawal symptoms!

After our C2C in June, Team Banana have finally sorted what we're doing next June- 220 to 240 mile [depends if we follow forest track route] circuit from Newcastle to Haltwhistle, up to Bellingham, Wooler, Berwick, Bamburgh, Tynemouth and home.... can't wait!

Celebratory cup of tea + ginger snap.
