Have a slice of my birthday cake from a couple of weeks ago (yes, my birthday was in June, but my sister made me a late cake)

She'd told Oli that when Auntie Sue came we'd have cake with candles, so his first words on seeing me when we picked him up from nursery were "Auntie Sue, cake, candles!"

He chose the candles and put them on the cake.

No, the meal out has been postponed. I had my flu jab this week, and what with various other events of this week, I feel weebly-wobbly, fuzzy headed etc, and not like being in a crowded restaurant. It will be a take-away instead.

Hmmmm, takeaway... I shouldn't really, I've spend a lot of money today, got a mattress protector, a socket set and a pair of crankbolts....
