You only have to ask Dayvo and I am sure one of us would be more then happy to send over a box of your preferred tea tipple

I'd love a cuppa Yorkshire, but all I've got is crappy Norwegian 'English Breakfast Tea!'

I'll be back in the USSR UK next week, so I'll overdose then!

Wonder what the sniffer dogs would make of a box of Yorkshire teabags being airmailed to Oslo! Especially when the X-ray shows up 72 small packages of ground up substance...

I sent Mrs Uncle Phil some teabags, and a small cucumber, and a number of other items, when she was in Farsund, Norway a couple of weeks ago.

They took a while to arrive, but did get there in the end. I wonder where they'd been in the interim?

Never let the minor distraction of laying an egg get in the way of a hen and her mealworms...

Campag is such a character. She's little but full of feistiness and inquisitiveness. She always wants to know what's going on and is always trying to get to the head of the queue when I appear with treats such as mealworms, sweetcorn, spaghetti, grapes and the like. Went out this morning with the bucket of mealworms. I am spotted. Cue the usual avian frenzy to get to the door of the run... hens shouting "Me!Me!Me!" and flapping excitedly. Cue Campag appearing at the door of the henhouse and she positively gallops down the ramp to greet me as I enter the run area. Whereupon she joins in with the flapping & begging for mealworms, and promptly deposits her fresh egg right at my feet.

Nothing, but nothing gets in the way of a hen and her mealworms...

Blimey, do they not have cucumbers in Norway? Is it too hilly or something?

Just grabbing a sandwich at my temporary desk overlooking Bootham, I'd never realised before that the inward bound traffic is nose to tail, all day. I assumed it was only at home time when I sail up the left laughing....
