Afternoon all!

How come I feel all bug eyed and sleepy today? I went to bed the same time as normal, I slept well, the alarm went off the same time, I got up the same time, and I've had a bike ride in - a longer one than the rest of the week. But I don't feel quite awake.

Still, I have pate sandwiches and a puff pastry mince pie. Crumb-tastic!

Well... back to WW this evening. It works. Do it and I lose weight by eating very, very, very healthily combined with the supportive element from the others at the meeting. Vernon is going back too as the pair of us put on far, far too much weight as a result of long inactivity following his twice snapped achilles tendon and my various ill-health issues.

I can reccomend long European tours on which you have not allowed yourself enough time. On our way to Norway, we realised a few days in that if we were going to reach our destination on time, we'd have to up the mileage and simplify the route.

We ended up doing 80 mile days plus. It was flat, but it takes a few hours each day to get those miles in, especially if you get lost occasionally. And that means there's not so much time for shopping and eating.

I lost several kilos. And, despite the rush, had a good time doing it!

What's all that funny looking green stuff on there? And those...erm...red things?

I would suggest a larger one of these as the centrepiece of the occasion, so to speak...

The longest journey begins with a single step.
You can do it, Waffles.
I expect to see you looking trim, toned and other words beginning with 'T' at Bottlemasher's birthday ride in March
I hope to have built a 'bent by then.
