Thought as much;). It's not the most popular show amongst forumites:laugh:.

TBH, I quite like the dancing if I get into it - I love Fred Astaire films. But I hate the judging and the whooping and the gushing and the rest of it.

I loved Tom Chambers' winning routine last year, could watch stuff like that for hours....

If I've recorded it I often skip over Bruce trying to be funny and the judges bickering amongst themselves. It makes the programme much more enjoyable!

I fell off early on Friday morning in the dark, when I got to work and inspected the damage properly I discovered a sharp stone embedded in my helmet!!!!!!

Ouch! The sort of thing that gets overlooked in the helmet debate... You ok, otherwise?

The denizens of Chateau Wafflycat love the programme and find enjoyment is vastly enhanced by the use of the 'mute' button when Brucie opens his mouth. ;)

Thought Ricky's cha-cha-cha was overmarked tonight. Odds on Leila & Anton going out?

Morning all.

I'm sitting here with a cuppa getting all nervous over an Ebay auction. It is the most I have ever bid on there and there isn't even a photograph of the actual item, just a pic nicked off a website.

Sometime last night someone raised the bidding to a winning bid and then retracted it. It makes me wonder if someone was doing that just to see what my maximum bid is. Maybe the seller looking to see if he could bump up the price so it doesn't go too cheaply.

It will be a cash on collection so if it isn't right then I won't pay and I will report the seller. On eof the few times I am happy for Ebay rules to be overly biased to the buyer.
I have spoken with the seller, though that doesn't amount to much in reality.

Thanks Waffles, I am keeping to a strict maximum I am willing to spend but it is only half what the item is worth if it is genuine.

I usually only bid what I can afford to risk losing but this time I am bidding what I can afford to spend on it.

Welcome to the special 'five minute' job. Never takes less than an hour and a half.

That tea'll be a bit stewed, I'll make a new pot. Been out doing a bit more Christmas shopping - found a couple of books in Borders (doing my best vulturre impression) and the face jollop my sister asked for. Slightly astonished by the price of it, but if it's what she wants.... I had to enter the alien world of the comestics counters in Browns....;)
