For some reason, I now have an image in my head of too big a bowl of corn being put in a microwave and it popping until the door can hold no longer and it all floods out....

Not suggesting you would Waffles, it's just a comic image.

'm going to have Smash Nest for tea. It's basically a cottage pie you can't be bothered to finish in the oven - a ring of mashed potato (Smash, to be really authentic) with minced beef and onion and carrots in gravy in the middle. A favourite from my childhood. And I'll finish off the red cabbage lightly simmered as a side veg.

My thumbs hurt. I think they got just the right amount of cold and wet today to get all sensitive down the side of the nails - does anyone else get that?

I used to get it all the time a St Nicks, occupational hazard.

Anyone want to come and do my washing up? ;)

Depends on my mood, but more often salty.
I do like the toffee-coated stuff though.

Am I very sad or very observant? The prog tonight with David Attenborough - there was an expert on population control. He had been on screeen for about three seconds, and I could have told you which University he was from.:biggrin::biggrin: I recognised the style of lamp post in Gas Town in Vancouver. ;):biggrin::biggrin::eek:
